  Adventure Time Painting
  -a few months ago, i stopped drawing stickers and cutouts of Finn and Jake, to focus on more original pieces. however, last night, i got lost in recreational research, and spent about an hour reading the Adventure Time Wikipedia article (and the links it sent me to). i was amazed by the history of the show, not only the production of it, but the history of the characters and the world WITHIN the show. what stood out most to me was the story of “the Mushroom War” and the way their magical world was born from the destruction of ours. this inspired a page in my sketchbook, which i translated into a painting today.
